19/07/2020 – Easybasket In Europe project starts again after the lock down phase, caused by Covid-19 pandemic, which lasted about 5 months. EIE staff is back to the field working for ending the e-learning web platform, intellectual output n.3 of the project.
The platform will be used for disseminating the innovative approach to Easybasket, i.e. simplified basket reserved for children from 5 to 8 years.
Mr. Maurizio Cremonini, responsible of the National Minibasket Sector for FIP (Italian Basketball Federation) and technical manager of EIE project, and Roberta Regis, member of the National Minibasket Staff and School for Fip, come back to Matera from the 13th to the 18th of July 2020 with the aim of editing and finalizing the video contributions, shot in Matera last February and essential for the web platform.
About 30 videos – lessons have been created, most of which will be available online and reachable also throughout the QR-codes contained in Easybasket guide, Intellectual Output n.2 of EIE project.
All the videos were shot entirely in Matera at the gym of Istituto Comprensivo G. Pascoli last February with the direct involvement of the children of the school, which is among project partners. Indeed, the children of the G. Pascoli School are the protagonists of the video lessons with their way of approaching the game not only as simple performers and the gym becomes a place that welcomes everyone and is suitable for everyone.
This is EIE – Easybasket In Europe, Erasmus + project which has Olimpia Basket Matera as its coordinator, and the following partnership: FIP – Italian Basketball Federation, APD Pielle Basket Matera, ASD Culture and Sport Matera, Istituto Comprensivo “G. Pascoli” School Matera, Lietuvos Sporto Universitetas (University of Sports of Lithuania), Czech Basketball Federation (Czech Republic Basketball Federation), Deutscher Basketball Bund (Germany Basketball Federation), Danmarks Basketball Forbund (Denmark Basketball Federation) and Fundaciòn Red Deporte y Cooperaciòn (NGO, Madrid).
What’s next?
Shortly the video-lessons and the e-learning web platform will be online with free public access. In order to finalize the project activites, except for new restrictions caused by the covid – 19, the final Sport event will be held in Matera, hopefully next September and the Multiplier Event n.2 is scheduled for next October.
